whiteFyre source code

One of the most popular and user-friendly source codes to date, whiteFyre is what I recommend most beginners with little to no PHP knowledge to start out with. It's clean and very easy to understand and read. It's pretty safe and secure, but there are a few security holes you'll want to watch out for. The original YA RLY message boards used this source.

zenFyre source code

A modification of a modified version of the whiteFyre source code, zenFyre is definitely one of the best source codes out there. It fixes the security holes that the whiteFyre source contained, making it possibly the safest source code available. There are many extra features available in this whiteFyre modification, including an account security system, factions, private boards, and so on. If you're a beginner, I recommend training on the whiteFyre source before moving on to zenFyre as this requires a little extra expertise.
